Belmont Park was down the street from where we were staying while we were in San Diego so on Saturday night we finally had a chance to go explore! John Spreckels opened the park on July 4, 1925. It's located on the beach and has over a million people that visit it every year.
We didn't ride any rides, I wish we had but maybe next time. We found parking on the street before we saw that there were spaces in the parking lot and it was free to park. Whoops!
I was able to convince Tony to play mini golf with me - something I've been wanting to do forever! At $9/person it was a bit spendy but I'm trying to create experiences instead of collecting things so...we had a pretty fun time!
I was so sad the Dole Whip places was closed after mini golf. Should have gotten one first! Oops.

Overall it was a really fun place to hang out at. Lots of stores, places to grab a snack like funnel cakes or ice cream, a variety of rides for $1/ticket and 2 smashed penny machines! One was out of service but there was one in the main entrance as you enter the park.
