My brother remembered a cool restaurant he ate at in Kansas City awhile ago and was able to find it again so on Sunday afternoon for lunch we all went to eat at Fritz's.
There was a bit of a line but we found fun things to do while we waited and the line moved fairly fast.
Like the Training Table restaurant (if you are familiar with that) you place your order via a phone at your table.
There is a train track that runs along the ceiling of the restaurant. When your food gets delivered it, the train engine stops at your table and a levered arm slaps the food off the train and on to a little metal platform that lowers itself to your table. I have a video posted on my Instagram if you'd like to see how we got our food.
My chicken burger with a side of fries I shared with Tony.
It's quite the fun place. The food isn't anything to shout about so I'd say people go more for the entertainment value but I'm glad my brother had the idea to go here and that we were able to find it!
If you'd like to go, here's the address:
2450 Grand Blvd.Kansas City, MO 64108
If you need parking there is a garage across the street so if you see the Crown Center shopping area on your right, get in the left lane and you would turn left after the Legoland building on your left.
