We love Fuddruckers (Las Vegas location here)
As you know, this is a blog documenting our travels which mainly include road trips and lots of hot air balloon festivals. However! The next series of posts are going to feature a trip we take to Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.
Airport burrito of egg, steak, and cheese.
Not too shabby but Tony didn't care for the sauce.
Airport selfie with a fun Snapchat filter my friend Rhonda made.
Even though it was a holiday weekend we made it to our gate with time to spare. It was so kind of my friend Emily to let us stay the night at her house (she just moved recently too!) and took us to the airport early the next morning. Great friend indeed!
We weren't able to sit next to each other on the plane but across from the aisle? That'll do.
Neck pillow? Check.
Comfy, warm clothes? Check.
Cranberry (apple) juice? Check.
Thanks to a new friend, Cortez, who had the window seat - he got some cool pictures for me on my phone.
We have seen a few buildings with tornado shelters here. Eek. Apparently, because there are not any mountains, it's super flat and is a good recipe for tornado weather.
Funny art at the airport
We rode the shuttle bus to pick up our rental car for the week and there was room on the bus for us but...standing room only. Luckily it was only a 3-minute drive.
We could watch planes landing over in this area of picking up our car but I didn't have my camera ready in time so even if you squint, you won't see a plane.
We crossed over this bridge a few times the couple days we were in this area. Back and forth doing lots of things between Kansas and Missouri. So crazy!
