Saturday morning started with meeting my friend and former coworker in Chandler at a restaurant called U.S. Egg. I wasn't sure how it would be but was pleasantly surprised.
Ordered their french toast that came with strawberries, bananas and whipped cream. Mmm
Stopped by Ikea next to look for a desk top for Tony's new sit-stand desk. Didn't find one that would work for him but did find other cool stuff that I loved!

Had to stop by Michael's to get a few more things (they had a GREAT sale going on! Plus I wanted to participate in this challenge going around where you take a picture with flowers from the craft store in the background.

Next, we headed out to Queen Creek to visit my friend Adrianna and her family for a bit. We had a great time catching up with them for an hour or so plus the drive was really pretty.

Creme and Chocolat in Mesa was having their grand opening with dollar dipped cones so we went and did that next!
Toasted Mallow in Gilbert is a place I've been wanting to go for awhile. Homemade marshmallows, fluffed up drinks and a s'mores bar!? Count me in. It did not disappoint. So much sweet and yummyness.
Then, we needed some savory after 2 places of sweetness so we went to Zupa's because I wanted to try their Irish Stew which tasted more like beef stew, not sure what made it Irish but it was delicious. More delicious after they brought me a second bowl because my first bowl was practically cold. Ick.
We headed over to another evening at the Easter pageant - this time as legit volunteers which vests and badges. We were managing the handycap parking lot.

I know Nicolea and Kapri from young-single-adult events plus Kapri and I were in the same ward for awhile. Super loved seeing them again and chatting/catching up. Such fun girls!
Ended the night watching Pitch Perfect 3 with my friend. Such a full, fun packed day. I love days like that. Going from thing to thing to thing.
