After the morning balloon flights were done and everything put away, we went back to my sister's place where Tony spent some time jumping on the trampoline with my niece and nephew and playing ball in the street. They definitely kept him busy!

My sister made us lunch and Tony & I headed out, its a 7 hour drive from where she lives to our house. I was sad to leave, hanging out with her and her family is always a blast. 

Our next stop on our way out of town was actually,  

COLD STONE!

We don't have this in our town and I must say I miss having one close by for when the craving hits. I tried a strawberry-banana mix with marshmallows mixed in. Super good - I loved this combination!

We drove for a couple hours and went to the town of Quartzite, to Tyson Wells to be specific, were Tony's cousin Joey and her bf Simeon are working at his soup and smoothie food truck.  We got some smoothies (always delicious!) and then went to eat at a restaurant called Stagecoach Saloon.

It was super great to see Joey and catch up with her. We had a safe trip back and got to Ridgecrest around 11pm I think. It was worth the extra time spent in Quartzite, for sure!
