466When we where getting solar there where a bunch of websites/companies that were estimating how much solar we would produce based on our system size. Check out the ‘Sizing our solar system’ section in our Solar Journey post for more information. I recorded what each of the websites quoted us and will track them against what our system will actually produce. If you come across a website that you would like to test against our system we live near Bakersfield in California and have a 5.1 kW solar system. Most companies will give you the daily average, so multiply that number by 5.1 and then either 30 for the monthly average or 365 for the yearly average.
